Duck details

Post by Dread »

With the time change it is no longer dark when I get up and dark when I get home, just when I get up! Yesterday I did I whirlwind tour of the local duck pond to catch some late evening sun:

Glad you folks like the series, certainly #2 fits in the best with you folks!

It's funny, I've been looking at aerial maps for the past couple of weeks... must have imprinted on my brain!

Seeing the first one, I thought what a nice blue sky and white clouds in the background. He must have been lying down outstreched on the ground for capturing this one, but then the perspective of the mallard wouldn´t fit.... :smt017 there must be something wrong with that picture...

Well, the 3rd picture gave the answer: Still covered in ice and snow over there you are , no blue sky in the background and suddenly the perspective of the duck and the whole image was ok.

Thank goodness that over here we are bathing in the North Atlantic current!

Wishing you thaw!
Cheers,
Betty

Fine Betty, you just bathe away :P We got hammered this morning by 20cm of snow, then 10cm of freezing rain, and now it's heavy rain. Snow is REALLY heavy with that much rain mixed in!
