Parodia or Notocactus?

It looks like a true Parodia, but not sure which at the moment. Incidently all Notocactus have now been lumped into Parodia so if you wish to follow the "lumpers" they are all Parodia's now as Parodia was the oldest generic name and on being merged took priority.

Great shots Nikola,its a tough one cos some say Parodia,some say Notocactus,which is the old name and which I prefer. I don't like the constant name changes by the lumpers and splitters,but thats all part of scientific progress I suppose.

Great shots. This is the subject matter which got me into extreme close-ups (aka macro). I started with a rangefinder camera and (often stacked) meniscus lenses.

Don't dismiss Weingartia as a possiblitiy.
