Hey everyone,

Have you ever tried to take pictures through waterdrops
or any other kind of fluid? I was experimenting with
water, oil and honey this week trying to get the best shot
possible. Maybe glycerin would have also been an option
(but I had none...^^). I really like the results you can
achieve when you get really close. In the following video,
I share some tips and techniques how to take cool
photos using droplets. If you have taken some pictures
already, please share them with us:)

I tried this a while ago. Agree fully that using something more viscous like glycerin is helpful. And the mount holding the drop must be very stable. I had no success trying to do this handheld.

I definitely need to buy glycerin soon. I mean I like the results, but getting perfect round droplets will look even greater;)

Very nice.

I was friendly back in the days of my photography, with a fellow photographer
who used soap bubbles in his greenhouse to take shots of Orchids.

I remember how striking his shots were, perhaps a suggestion?
