Adalbert, yes, I knew they were natural, but I was asking if they are produced by natural interference (probably light reflecting off different thin layers). In other words, do the colors change with viewing angle? Are these colors produced by the act of reflection? Or put another way, is it the same wing as the other picture?

Nice. Those are interference colors if they change with viewing angle, though it looks like there is some actual pigment as well.

The name of this dragonfly is rhinocypha anisoptera.
Unfortunately I haven’t found any information about the structure of its color wings :-(
