Dragonfly Sympetrum pallipes

Sympetrum pallipes female. This species is one of the most common in the late summer and fall and is not very showy, but I really like the rich, earth tones on the female.

I have been practicing with Bugslabber and so far I'm pleased with the results.

Camera: Nikon D810
Lens: Mitutoyo M Plan Apo 5x mounted on a 200mm Micro-Nikkor
Exposure: f6.3@1/60 ISO=64, single diffused electronic flash, 190 exposures stacked with StackShot, precessed with Zerene Stacker and Photoshop.
