My (current) mess of a rig! It produces pretty good results though, despite the creeping spaghettification.
Does anyone else use a clutter like this? Or worse? Please do share a pic if you do and help dilute my growing embarrassment...

Only saw this post just now Steve. Wow, thats quite an interesting set-up.
Mine is much more boring compared, one diffusion dome and two small flash. I use a big breadboard and bolt the flash arms to the a QR plate, and the QR clamp is bolted to the breadboard. This was one of the best ways to get rid of the clutter and gain a clear path of access to manipulate the subject or change lenses.
The downside to my set-up? I have a drawer full of magnetic bases that I can't get rid of.
