first result using microscope for macro (housefly pano)

Post by Aenima »

Image

thought i'd post my initial results using the microscope for macro as mentioned in the beginners section post (about using a copy stand)

So yeah, just used the microscope with a LED clip on lamp and a ping pong ball diffuser - and 4x DPLAN achro olympus objective, focus stacked and pano of 5 or 6 frames.

thanks 4 looking any critique welcomed :)

p.s i did actually try macro with a microscope a while back but dismissed the idea and messed around (without success) with a cheap macro rail etc. and used the BH2 only for micro - now i realise it was probably worth persevering :P especially now i have a copy stand :)

thank you Harald --

I haven't used the copy stand as yet though - I just got it today - and as usual the new equipment brought new problems to solve :P

Keeps you on your toes this hobby doesn't it :D
