Just a casual question while I'm finishing up my table build.
Where to people put their Wemacro control boxes, and how do you keep them in place?
The box doesn't have any mounting holes or brackets.
Plan to stop at Home Depot on the way to work tonight and pick up some velcro. I'm going to tie up the power and data cables and attach them to the table to keep them out of the way.
I'm going to see if I can velcro the box to the bottom of the table to keep it out of the way.
If that turns out not to be secure enough, I'll have to try to build some kind of bracket, probable from formed sheet metal. An alternative is to build a small shelf for it.
Wemacro Control Box Placement?

Not sure if magnets could interfere with the shutter activation mechanism of the controller. Velcro or rubber band will work for sure. I would avoid setups preventing heat dissipation as the device gets warm when in use.elf wrote:Magnets will work better than Velcro
Mine just rests on the table because I don't use a dedicated table.
