Wow, I really like that one. I've always shied away from trying studio stacks of caterpillars and millipedes. Just too squishy and floppy looking. I might have to have a go after all. Thanks

Thanks, doods. These things live in the woods around our house and sometimes we see huge infestations of them outside after heavy rains. Of course, they find their ways inside, but soon expire from dehydration. If you grab one with a tweezers to flush down the toilet, they stink to high heaven.
Usually, they curl into a tight coil when they expire, but due to the ether I use to "decapacitate" them, sometimes they curl up somewhat loosley.
Still. I agree the "bronze" effect it quite profound.

I too had the same association with bronze when I saw the photo. Very neat photo!
