Probably Agrilus sp. with Nikon plan apo 4x finite

Post by JH »

I still must find out what kind of beetle this is. My guess so far is Agrilus sp. – but even if it is an Agrilus there are at least 25 species of Agrilus in Sweden.

Nikon plan apo 4x, NA 0.2, 160mm, direct projection on FF sensor, slightly cropped, and approx. 210 mm distance between sensor and objective. A little more than 300 images Stacked with Zerene stacker, final adjustments in Adobe PS.

Best regards

Thanks mawyatt and hkv. It was some very nice pictures from forum member Beatsy that inspired me to try a less diffused light.
