Thanks Rik. In order to stay below 300 KB I reduced the size of the image, but obviously I did something wrong .. I'm still learning the post-production ..rjlittlefield wrote:Nicola, your images are lovely!
But they would be even better if you posted larger versions of them.
The one here is only 567x430; maximum accepted by the forum would be 1024x777
Just be sure to adjust the JPEG quality to keep the file length at 300 KB or below.

The trick is to leave the image size at 1024 pixels on the long dimension, then set the image quality (JPEG compression factor) during the save as necessary to get the file length under 300 KB.nic wrote:In order to stay below 300 KB I reduced the size of the image
If you're using Adobe Photoshop, then the "Save for web" function will produce shorter files at same quality, by removing metadata. At present your image metadata says that you're using CS4 on a Mac. I've never used that particular combination, but extrapolating from other versions I suggest looking for File > "Export for web and devices".

Thanks Chris! I placed the seeds on a small concave lens and I put a green paper sheet below. Obviously I put a light diffuser around the seeds.Chris S. wrote: ... I like how you've arranged your lighting to bring out the texture and topology of these seeds. ..

I'll post soon my setup in the forum 'equipment discussion' - I'm still working on it ... :-)
.. .. thanks again indeed for the advice!
