Help Identifying Camera

Post by dave4068 »

I purchased a used Jenco JC-311 stereo microscope with a camera mounted on it. Windows 10 recognizes the camera as "OPTEC300C" but cannot locate a driver for it. I have searched online and contacted Jenco and Optec for a driver with no luck. Can anyone offer any help? There are no markings or labels on it.

There are some generic USB microscope camera drivers here, together with some information. http://www.oasisscientific.com/downloads.html Worth a try?

You could try the free MICAM software:

Thanks. Cactusdave and Alan Wood. Tried both and several other viewing programs. Still not working. The device manager shows no driver present.

Windows 10 doesn't play well with digitally unsigned drivers. Even if you were able to locate it online, 10 wouldn't allow it to connect most likely. Best use Win 7 64 bit pro.
