Looks pretty good to me, but of course, appearances can be deceiving. Has anyone tried this French macro rail?
My extreme-macro.co.uk site, a learning site. Your comments and input there would be gratefully appreciated.

Have not tried one. I wonder how good the backlash is? Large dial with 20um per division is pretty good. Maybe you can split the divisions and get 10um steps on average. Kind of expensive though.

I have mixed feelings. It is Italian made, seems technically OK, I may even consider a purchase.
However the manufacturer's website photoseiki.it looks outdated; makes me wonder if they are still in business.

Greetings Hans.

B&H Photo are showing these as a stocked item, so I guess they are still being manufactured. Not inexpensive though, as Ray pointed out...

Hi guys, one of Photoseiki's good follower let me aware of this conversation, I'm Leonardo, public face of Photoseiki indeed.

I'd wish to reassure you we are still in business and our macro rail are in stock either in France to Jama.fr, to BH.com on our website and a lot of other spots. You may find it on Amazon as well.

If you need some extra information don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks,
Leonardo :)

Leonardo,
welcome to the forum.
Do you know if there is a product review/test for the macro rail?

Greetings Hans.

Dear Hans,
Thank you.

Unfortunately we still don't have an official review, it will come during next few months.

For now, only good sponsors:
