New Stacking Rail & Software on Kickstarter

Post by johan »

I've been following the development of the software and hardware over at Facebook for a few months now and it's now gone live as a Kickstarter project - StackRail and SnapFuse. At https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/pylin/snaprail-for-focus-stacking

Well, it seems his project is a fact now.
Any experience with this rail anyone?

Johan, thanks for the valuable article update!

You mention four mjkzz rails and say in the article that of the four, only the PR 110 has been discontinued. However I can only find one rail kit on his website, the SR-18, which is not one of the high-precision ones. Did I miss something?

No, as I understand it they're available to order but it might be that there's no webpage whilst he's sourcing components. I'll get him to contact you.
