Post by RobertOToole »

Started with this:

RARE 300mm Apo El Nikkor f5.6 NEAR MINT in original box

Starting at $11.

Looks a little suspicious?

Seller is from india with a ton of expensive items with low low starting prices, D5 bodies, Canon 1DX IIs.

Makes more sense now.

Looks like the items are getting pulled now.

The fantastic thing is that people are actually bidding on the items, people are that greedy?

Who in their right mind bids 4 cents for a Zeiss lens, new in the box, with free shipping and free returns, from India :D

Just another heads up. This time web sites in The Netherlands offering amongst other things some Gretag f120 Processing Lenses.

I excitedly paid with PayPal because I really wanted to try one and when I became concerned about the lack of tracking information, even bearing in mind the issues in China guessing then that the source was not The Netherlands from the Chinese name of the seller on PP, I did a bit of forensics and phoned PayPal who listened, were fantastic and found a dispute in my favour with a refund in the shortest time possible.

Whilst I felt it might be too good to be true, it was.

Still looking if any one has a spare or has finished with their example.

BR
