Nice image. He does look happy; which raises an interesting question: what is it about this image that makes us all feel that?

I like it! Among the flower crab spiders, one can have a go at identifying them to the genus, with this helpful guide from BugGuide:

Based on that, one can see the likely genus of this little charmer.
