Nikon Plan Apo 60 0.90 160 finite

Hey guys,

Does anyone know this objective? Does it need a special eyepiece for colour correction or can it be used for direct projection?

I‘m thankful for any hint:)

You are talking about the first generation CF with plain barrel, as opposed to the CFN (CF new) 60x planapo 0.95 which has a knurled ring.

I own the CF PlanApo 60x 0.90 and like it well enough. It's nice and convenient to have a high NA dry objective, but it's never going to produce as nice an image as an oil objective. The image is very well corrected for chromatic aberrations, but contrast is pretty low.

Glad I have it, but could live without it.

Oh and since it is CF the image is fully corrected by the objective.
