Enlarger Lens Question

I received a Omega El-Omegar 50mm F3.5 lens from eBay as part of a shipment with an error (the shipment was supposed to also have a Schneider Companion-S 50mm F2.8 ).

Is the Omega lens useful for anything macro-wise and worth keeping?

I've never tested a 50mm EL-Omegar but the 75mm is a decent lens so I expect the 50mm to be fine as well. It probably won't beat a Nikon 50/2.8.

I can't think of a 50mm f/3.5 offhand which isn't a 3 or 4 element design, so not worth bothering with when the 6's are better.
